Francisco Nicolás González Díaz

Francisco Nicolás González Díaz is the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the Federal Republic of Germany since June 2010. His areas of expertise include: Business Administration, Finance, Strategic Planning, Trade & Investment, among others.

Starting in 1991 and until 1998, Francisco González worked in Finance areas for diverse private companies. From 1998 to 2000 he became President & Director of Administration of the company "Biotecnologia y Nutricion". Later, in 2000, he worked as Director of Innovation and Quality in "Nacional Financiera" (NAFIN). Recognized as a high-potential executive, in 2001, Francisco González’s career took another step forward when he became Deputy Director General of Srategic Planning in the Secretary of Interior. From 2002 until 2008 he became Commercial Counsellor for Germany, Central and Eastern Europe in the National Exterior Commerce Bank BANCOMEXT, in Frankfurt. Finally, with less than two years as Regional Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa in the ProMéxico, Trade and Investment in Frankfurt, Francisco Nicolás González Díaz is now the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Francisco Nicolás González Díaz holds a Bachelor & Master in Business Administration and was condecorated with the Commander´s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
